What does it feel like when you’re burnt out?

Burn is a visual reflection of how numb you become when wage-labour burnout captures you in an artificial world of pressure and stress, estranging you from the passage of time and season change until the natural world is what begins to feels jarring and out of place.

Burn is a continuous comic strip bound in a circular format, made to be viewable in variable one to two-spread formats, with a connected and cohesive interior and exterior.

Originally made in 2023, drawn with pencil crayon on paper, and later reproduced as inkjet colour copies measuring approximately 6″ x 7″.
